Hello, and thank you for your interest in an Oasis Mastiff puppy. Please fill out the puppy questionnaire at the bottom of this page. This form will both give me idea of what you are looking for and will give me an idea of which puppy would best fit your family. Please note, I NEVER sell a puppy that can be resold in any form and all sales come with a contract. Most puppies will be sold on a pet contract. A pet contract only gives limited registration and no breeding rights. All pet quality puppies must be spayed/neutered at the appropriate time. I do reserve the right to upgrade registration if the puppy shows promise as a show dog and the buyer chooses to begin showing the dog. A new contract can be arranged at that time.
My primary goal in placing any of my pups is to insure they are going to wonderful forever homes. If you
have not researched the breed thoroughly, I strongly encourage you to do so before you buy from any reputable breeder. Mastiffs are NOT for every family. Please, never buy from a pet store as you cannot be sure of either pedigree or
health testing and you would likely be supporting the“puppy mill” industry. No matter whom you buy from, always verify the health testing data. I will be more than happy to assist you in learning how to do this no matter who you decide to
buy from. Whether you are buying for a show prospect or a household pet, health testing is a very important aspect of screening puppies. All puppies are cute, but not all puppies have health testing behind them. Never be afraid to ask questions of your breeder!! A good breeder will be there for you and your puppy for the life of the dog! Read contracts carefully. All reputable breeders should insist on return of any of their pups if the buyer can no longer care for the dog. Also, they should offer some type of guarantee on all puppies. No matter who you choose to buy your Mastiff puppy from, please
feel free to contact me and I will gladly share the knowledge that I have learned over the past few years. I will tell you that my order of importance is temperament, health and conformation.
These are just quick highlights and I will be more than happy to cover
many more topics as the time for a puppy to go home with you comes
closer.
Sincerest Regard, Teresa McMahan
